Selling and money

Your business website

The storefront, its catalogue, and the orders it takes.

Website (sidebar, owners/admins) gives your business a public site — no code, no separate hosting — and opens in its own browser tab so your workspace stays where you left it. Pick a template for your business type (retail, restaurant, wholesale, consultancy, manufacturing), edit the headline, about text, and highlights, and optionally showcase up to 12 products pulled live from one of your own tables — name, price, and photo. A live preview of the real site sits alongside the editor and updates itself right after you save.

  • Your logo, address, and phone come from Settings → Business identity automatically.
  • Choose your address: …/site/your-name. It must be unique across BaseBlock.
  • Nothing is public until you press Publish; Unpublish takes it offline instantly.

The Details tab holds everything beyond the page content itself: opening hours, extra phone/email/WhatsApp contacts, social links, terms/privacy/ return-policy documents (each gets its own page, only if you write one), and whether cash-on-delivery is offered alongside any payment gateway you've configured.

Every product on your site gets its own page — click through from the showcase grid to see photo, price, stock, description, and a buy box, at a real shareable link search engines can index. And in Details, point your site's enquiry form at any table you own: messages land as real rows there (validated, audit-logged, same as typing them in yourself), so a "row created → notify" automation on that table is all it takes to hear about a new one.

Wholesale mode is for businesses that don't show prices publicly. Turn it on in the Product showcase section: the public page and every product's own page then show a photo-only preview, and the full catalog — prices and live stock, same numbers as your billing station — moves behind …/site/your-name/catalog. New customers request access there with their business details (name, shop, phone); the request appears in your Website builder, and one tap approves it — also filing them into your Customers table. Approved customers sign in with just their email (a one-time code / sign-in link — no password) and see the catalog.
